Dental Implants
and Oral Surgery

At our dental practice in Kraków, we also offer advanced procedures in oral surgery and implantology — including bone regeneration and modern implant placement techniques.

For patients experiencing anxiety, we provide the option of sedoanalgesia (conscious sedation) under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. This method uses intravenous sedatives and painkillers, allowing the patient to remain calm and relaxed throughout the procedure.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are titanium fixtures inserted into the jawbone, acting as artificial roots.
Once integrated with the bone (a process called osseointegration), they serve as a stable foundation for crowns, bridges, or dentures. Implants are the most advanced and durable solution for missing teeth, offering excellent aesthetics and full comfort comparable to natural teeth.

Dental Implant Treatment
– Step by Step:

Consultation and treatment planning

During the initial visit, the dentist carefully assesses the condition of your mouth and jawbone using 3D tomography, rules out any contraindications, and works with you to plan the number and placement of implants.

Healing and integration period

The implant fuses with the bone through a process called osseointegration, which typically takes 3–6 months. During this time, a temporary restoration can be placed to maintain the appearance of your smile and comfort while eating or speaking.

Prosthetic restoration on the implant

After the healing period, the implant is uncovered and fitted with a healing abutment, followed by a permanent abutment and prosthetic restoration — such as a crown, bridge, or denture, depending on your treatment plan.
The final result looks and feels completely natural, restoring both full comfort and an aesthetic smile.
